Another Colour Challenge

I had a little time to create something today, so thought I would have a go at the latest Colour Challenge posted over at the Embellish blog. {Just to clarify to my worldwide blog friends, too, the word "color" has different spelling here in Aus, it is "colour"... I truly can spell... honest...;)}

If you do get a spare few moments, take a look at the cards posted for inspiration for this challenge by the design team, a truly talented bunch of crafters, each card is just beautiful.

I had two different ideas in my mind for these colours, first up, a yummy Chocolate base and some chalks. I did have a lot of trouble capturing this card in a decent photo, due to the shimmery chalks I used, they are really pretty and pearly in the flesh, but the photo just isn't really sharing that with you...

...next, I opted for a stark white base, prettied up with some stamping...

...well, I do hope your weekend is cruising along nicely, thanks for popping in.
Smiles:) bye for now.
Kathy

They are both wonderful but I truly love the shimmering chalks card!!

We spell colour with a U too. I am always back and forth with it and wonder if people think I have a spelling problem. lol.

Both cute cards Kathy--love the buttons on the 2nd one.

I had to laugh at your spelling disclaimer! We spell it with a U in Canada too--it's our British loyalty, I guess. I always think people think I can't spell either and that they must think that I'm horrible, given they read on my sidebar that I'm an English teacher!! haha
