A fun little project...

Hello, my name is Kathy, and I am now addicted to Colour Challenges...hee hee. The girls are having a little kip today as we were up for a lot of the night with a storm, not a particularly nasty one, just a noisy one with heaps of thunder and lightning, and a lot of rain. The girls are very scared of storms, so always wake to huddle under the protection of Mummy and Daddy... I have to admit, that while I am almost at the point of needing toothpicks to hold my eyes open today, I do love storms simply for the cuddle factor;)

So, onto the business at hand, another colour challenge... shocked? With the munchkins snoozing, I really felt like making something, a bag actually, but seeing as the time factor won't allow a finished product, I decided on a paper project instead. I loved Stacey's Curtain Call colour challenge last week, so wanted to do it all over again. Loving the inspiration this week, I never use black or orange, so I had fun trying my hand at these.

EDITED TO ADD: I am also entering this little set of goodies into Nichole's Contest over at the Papertrey Blog. Nichole is having a contest and the challenge is to make something using some form of Origami. So... voila... a cute little origami box full of a little fun. There are some awesome entries, be sure to check them out if you have time:)

Rather than go with a card this time, I thought I would make a gift box with 5 little cards inside.

I haven't made one of these for ages, I love using paper to make dinky little gifts like this. Just a simple Origami box and the finished cards are 3 1/2 inch square. I used 5 different sentiment rub-ons so the recipient has a nice set of cards for lots of occassions.

Well, I hope your week charges off to a good start, thanks for checking in to see what I've been up to. Smiles:) bye for now.

Kathy
