Crafting up a Storm!!!

Happy Friday All! I have been madly making a few Mother's Day cards to have on hand... I did go a little overboard;) I am hoping that the girls school is having a stall or something and may need some, I may even try and put some in my Etsy store if I get a chance.

My usual style, sweet simplicity, just the way I like it...

I just love this October Afternoon "Farm Fresh" paper and have been waiting to crack it open;)

Next up, Mother's Day Amy Butler style...

...I will be so devastated when I come to the end of my Teabox butterflies, I love each and every one of them.

Enjoy your weekend, thanks for checking in to see what I have been up to, be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post for a wee little give-a-way. Smiles, bye for now.

Hello there, please excuse my bloggy absence, life has been busy and I now have two sick little cherubs home for a few days with a yucky cold.... I feel kinda bad, but loving their company and cuddles... even if they are a bit whingier ; ) ... beats moping around missing them!

I did get a little chance at the end of last week to put an entry in for the Cards Blog Challenge - Valentines Cards with Fabric.

I was so excited to see it chosen as part of the line up on the blog... Yaayy! The other entries are so beautiful, I am again humbled to be sharing the floor with such talent, thankyou Paige and Cards!

I hope you are enjoying your week so far, rainy and lovely here, a good excuse to huddle up with my cherubs and just unwind.

Smiles :) bye for now,
Kathy

Curtain Call Colour Challenge

I have been missing my crafting so thought I would make a card tonight for Stacey's Colour Challenge. I love this colour combo - red, kraft and cream.

I was in the mood to make a lovey dovey card, we don't really do Valentine's Day over here, but I went with it anyways.

I didn't have any heart shapes, so just hand cut these little babies, I think they turned out alright.

I hope you enjoy your weekend wherever it takes you. Smiles :) bye for now.

Colour Play

Do you ever see a colour combination and just fall in love with it... even if it was a combo you would never dream of putting together yourself? This is how I felt when I saw the gorgeous photo posted on Melissa Phillips' blog. Red, Kraft and Cream wouldn't be my usual choices, but I just had to make something using it, it looks so vintagey and pretty together, don't you think? I couldn't help but add in a little pink and rusty brown for good measure;)

I hope you are having a lovely weekend, thanks for stopping by to see what I have been up to.

Smiles :) bye for now,
Kathy
