11 Years on...

Hi there Blog Friends. The years seem to fly by so very fast, it seems like only yesterday, I did a little post about my 10 year wedding anniversary, and tomorrow marks number 11.

I can simply say, without boring you too intently, that I dearly love this man as much... if not more, than the day I married him. He is a treasure of a fellow, and the moment he drove up and ordered a Cheeseburger was the moment I knew I would be his for the rest of my life.

Our match is simply made in heaven... or in the McDonald's Drive Thru in this particular case. He is my best friend, and such a special man to me and our little munchkins.

Happy Anniversary my dear boy  I love you and I am very sorry we can't really celebrate tomorrow (I am off for a little bit of minor surgery, nothing to worry about, just a real poop that it has to be on our anniversary).

Bye for now, enjoy your weekend wherever it takes you.

Please excuse my recycling of photos from last year... we were married in the 'olden days' ... remember that time before digital cameras (yes, then)... that time where you only have the actual papery photos... that time of no discs to store photos on...that time where if you want photos on your computer, you need to buggerise around scanning the photo on your photocopier, resize it, crop and trim it, and then finally upload it... so needless to say, I am happy to simply use the ones from last year where the buggerising around has already been done... I have a bag to pack;)

'Tis the Season... almost

Hey there Blog Friends, December is edging closer each day and I am pleased to announce that I have finished my Christmas cards with plenty of time to spare. I have created about 4 different designs for my cards this year and made a little stack of each design - I do change them up a bit with the paper, sentiments, ribbon/twine and stamps, so each one is a little unique from the next. I used to make 30 or so completely different cards, but it just got to be a little too tricky, and now I make Mum's too (I get so chuffed when she tells me about the dear old relatives who comment on the cards she sends) I have needed to get a bit of a production line going to get them all finished on time.

Two of the other designs that I had finished a few weeks back can be seen here and here.

These are the last two lots that complete this year's Christmas Card Making Extravaganza... drumroll please (can you tell I am a wee bit happy to have finished???)

1. SweetSimplicitee's Circle Christmas...

2. SweetSimplicitee's Bauble Bliss

I have made a white set and a kraft set of this design.

Well, thankyou again for stopping by to see what I have been up to. If you are after any information on the supplies used, just ask, I am happy to answer... but a little too lazy tonight to put up an Ingredients list ;-)

New Goodies for Etsy

Hey there Blog Friends. I have been a busy little bee making cards and gift tags. The Christmas cards are finished..phew!.. I'll share those later in the week. Today's share is a few new things I have been working on for my Etsy Store. We all love handmade right? I thought some of these might make a nice addition to somebody else's handmade treasures...

If you see anything you like, pop on over and have a closer look, they are all in SweetSimplicitee... the store;-)

Have a good night and thanks for stopping by

A good day...

Hey there Blog Friends, today is a beautiful day... well, every day is, but today is especially here. I had an awesome day with Dear Hubby who took me for a spot of shopping and a yummy lunch after the school drop off, I have found out that I am returning to my old school part time next year, which I am really excited about, and I have just discovered that I won a giveaway over at one of my favourite blogs - Dear Lizzy. Yippee!! Thankyou Elizabeth and Collin, and thankyou to The Rusted Chain!

Now for the crafty side of the post, more tags....Surprise!

Now I am off to enjoy the next phase of this beautiful day, some quiet time with my tired little munchkins before bedtime.

Enjoy your weekend, smiles and bye for now

Tag... {you're it}

Hi there Blog Friends. I have been going a little silly making tags here of late... basically, if you stand still for too long in our house at the moment, you may possibly get turned into a tag ;-) These are the Christmas ones I have been working on...

... they then get gently placed into a little pillow box... see...

I am also working on an order of 100 of these little tags...stamp, punch, stamp, punch...

What creative fun is happening in your corner of the world?

Bye for now, Happy Friday for tomorrow ♥

Going {Cuckoo}

Hey there Blogland Friends. I am finding it a bit tricky at the moment to get motivated to finish making my Christmas cards, I am halfway there but really need to get a wriggle on. The problem is, is that there is just too much pretty non Christmas stuff sitting on my desk begging me to play with it. Like this for example...

...yes... I did it... I too have jumped on the Baker's Twine bandwagon... just one? you ask... errr, no, that's just from one supplier, then I went a little crazy...

...isn't it all so pretty?

I simply had to use some straight away, and I have also been really itching to get into my new Hero Arts Cuckoo Stamps that I have had sitting on my desk for a few weeks, here are the finished goodies...

I love the texture and finish of heat embossing.

These will be going into my Etsy and MadeIt stores as soon as I have a spare minute.

Thankyou for stopping by, have a lovely rest-of-the day and bye for now.

Christmassy

Hi there blog friends. After a lovely trip to the shops this morning with my Mother Duck, surrounded by lots of Christmassy stuff, I am feeling... well... all Christmassy myself. I have broken out  the Christmas CD's,  the Christmas papers and stamps, and can't wait for school to end for the year and get into the fun stuff. We are lucky enough to have our delightful little munchkins' birthdays the week before Christmas, too, so it is always a fun time with lots of baking, giggles and surprises.

If you are on my Christmas card list... please look away now, as you will be receiving something that looks a little like this in the mail in the not too distant future ;-)

I thought I would also share the scene behind my chair as I am typing up my post...

... it's very cute, one sleepy Saturday afternoon for this little threesome that found me hiding in my computer/crafty space and decided to stay-a-while.

Enjoy your weekend, thanks for stopping by.

PS. If you want any deets for the supplies used on the cards, please leave a comment or send me email and I will let you know.
