Yesterday was a pretty productive day... sure, there was the initial mundaneness of the washing, a few groceries, getting dinner into the slow cooker... but then I got to tackle the fun stuff!
First up, it was my Godson's sixth birthday, so I wanted to make something to take to his afternoon party, I am so used to pink, pink, pink, so it was nice to make something boyish and blue...
...these tasty little meringues are such a pretty blue before they go into the oven, but they do change somewhat afterwards...
... but they were still yummy ; )
Next up was the birthday card, I had already made one, but decided at the last minute that it just wouldn't do, so made this...
...then half an hour before I went to pick up the girls from school, I got a bee in my bonnet about making a pretty strap for my camera, so I made this...
...out of my favourite Amy Butler Full Moon Polka and Wallflower fabric. Now, my camera matches my handbag, that matches my cooking apron... ( and this is the house that Jack built, ha ha)...because... you just never know when you might want to use them all at the same time... right?
I hope you have enjoyed your week, thanks for checking in to see what I have been up to and have a great weekend, bye for now

Very productive day Mrs Holden! Well done you :) Give those girls of yours a big smooch from me xox
Oooh they look yummy Kath...but don't you hate how the colour changes...same thing has happened to me :( Loving your camera strap Miss Matchy :) I will scream if you make a headband to go with it though :)
Totally love everything. You ought to sell those camera straps. The meringues look yummy. Bet they didn't last long.
What a busy bee you were. That godson wasn't Andrew, was it? Love the camera strap and very jealous of the swish look. I agree with Susie, please list a pink version in your etsy store! Mine is a Nikon but I am sure the principal will be the same. Lisa x
